While gravel roads account for over a third of the entire U.S. roadway network, they often take a backseat when it comes to roadway management. That used to be the case for Adams County too—who had nearly 80 percent of gravel roadways in complete disrepair—but not anymore. In this session, Jeremy will discuss the county's internationally-recognized best practices and share how Cartegraph data has helped them to secure $3M+ in additional annual funding, 5 new FTEs, and replace 16 motor graders.
By joining this session, attendees will be better able to:
- Establish a defined and measurable level of service for gravel roads
- Leverage the 3 basic measurable fundamentals of gravel condition evaluation
- Share a clearer, data-driven gravel story with key stakeholders
