General Info & Pricing

  • Where can I buy tickets?
    Tickets for the Cartegraph National Conference can be purchased on the registration page. You have three options to choose from, including Admin Certification, Conference Only, or the Full Conference (includes both Admin Certification + the Conference). 
  • Can I be invoiced for my tickets?

    Definitely! To be invoiced for your tickets, select your ticket type(s) on the registration page. Then, at the very bottom of the ticket module, there is the option to "Pay via Invoice" just below the "Order Now" button. From there, you will continue filling out your details, and the Cartegraph accounting department will reach out in the coming weeks with an invoice.  Easy peasy. 

  • What’s included in the cost of the general conference ticket?

  • What’s included in the cost of the admin certification ticket?
    For more information on the different ticket types, visit the registration page.
  • Will there be other training opportunities outside of admin certification?
    Yes. Simplified versions of the core Cartegraph Certification trainings will be repeated throughout the general conference programming for all attendees May 1-3.
  • Can I transfer my conference ticket to another individual?

    Yes. You may transfer your admin certification and/or conference ticket to a colleague at no additional charge. To transfer your registration:

    1. Click the “Manage Registration Details” link found in your confirmation email.
    2. Enter the email address you used at registration. A unique link will be emailed to you to confirm your identity so you can manage your registration details.
    3. Once you’ve confirmed your identity, you’ll receive an email to manage your registration. Click the link inside, and you’ll be taken to a new page where you can review your information, edit details, or transfer a registration.
    4. Select “Transfer Registration.” Enter the email address, first name, and last name of the individual you would like to transfer your registration to and select “Transfer Registration” one last time.
    5. You’re all set! Both you and your colleague will receive confirmation emails.

  • What are the on-site check in hours?

    Cartegraph Certification Check in:
    Monday, April 29: 8–9:30AM (North Convention Lobby)

    General Conference:
    Tuesday, April 30: 4–8 PM (South Convention Lobby)
    Wednesday, May 1: 6AM–5PM (South Convention Lobby)
    Thursday, May 2: 8AM–5PM(South Convention Lobby)
    Friday, May 3: 6AM–5PM (South Convention Lobby)

Travel & Dining

  • When should I arrive at the conference?

    That depends. If you’re registered for the pre-conference Cartegraph Admin Certification training, we recommend you arrive the evening of Sunday, April 28. That way, you’ll be rested and ready for the admin certification check in from 8–9:30AM on Monday, April 29.

    If you’re heading out for the regular conference programming, arriving on Tuesday, April 30 will give you a chance to get settled into your hotel room and provide you extra time to mingle with fellow users at the Welcome Social from 6—8PM. You can also beat the conference-day rush by checking in from 4—8PM.


  • Does my ticket fee include transportation and hotel costs?

    No. All costs for transportation and hotel accommodations are your responsibility. But, we can hook you up with a discounted conference room rate through the Sheraton Downtown Denver. Book the $229 per room rate now while space is still available and we’ll throw in a free breakfast each day of the conference.

  • Where should I stay?
    The CarteCon room block at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel is sold out, but we have good news. We reserved another block at the Hilton City Center Denver, just a block away from the conference. Book your stay now! 
  • Are meals included with my registration?

    Lunch is on us every day of the conference, and we’re even throwing in complimentary appetizers and drinks during the evening Welcome social on Tuesday, April 30 and the Mile High Party on Wednesday, May 1. Want to score free breakfast too? Attendees that book their overnight stay in the Cartegraph National Conference block at the Sheraton Downtown Denver will receive complimentary breakfast each day of the conference.   • Where should I eat?

    Denver is home of award-winning chefs making it one of the top dining locations in country! From steakhouses to coffee shops, the Mile High City has ample opportunities to choose the food to fit your mood—check out some favorites here! Don't want to venture too far from the Sheraton Downtown Denver? The hotel has six restaurants available—including Zoup!, which our graphic designer Andy is still talking about. Over a year later. 

  • What is the weather like in Denver in April/May?
    Spring in Denver is truly an adventure. It could be 65°F and you’re rocking a t-shirt, or 35°F and you’re trudging through snow. Keep your eye on the weather as we get closer to the conference, and be sure to pack extra layers so you’re prepared.
  • How do I get from the Denver International Airport to the Sheraton Downtown Denver?

    We have three different suggestions of how you can get from the airport to the conference.

    Taxi: When you exit the aircraft, follow signs for baggage claim or the transit center. You must board the airport people mover tram to get to Jeppesen Terminal where baggage claim and ground transportation is located. Baggage claim is located on Level 5. Taxicabs pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal, Level 5, Island 1, outside Doors 505, 507 and 511 (Terminal East), and Doors 506, 510 and 512 (Terminal West). A cab ride to Downtown Denver will cost about $55.

    Light Rail: When you exit the aircraft, follow signs for baggage claim or the transit center. You must board the airport people mover tram to get to Jeppesen Terminal where baggage claim and ground transportation is located. Baggage claim is located on Level 5. To get to Denver Airport Light Rail Station, follow signs to the “Transit Center” and proceed to the south end of the main terminal on Level 5 (located under the large American flag). Exit the terminal through the sliding glass doors and take the escalator located in the center of the plaza to Level 1.

    Tickets for the A Line may be purchased at the ticket vending machines located on the train platform using cash or credit cards. Buy a $9 ticket to Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station- exit the Platform onto Wewatta Street, then take a left. Just a half a block down, on the 16th Street Mall, there is a Free Mall Ride that you will board from the West side of the street. Take this to the Court Street stop. You will be at the front doors of the Sheraton.

    Driving from the airport (after picking up rental car): Drive west on Pena Blvd. Take Interstate 70 West to Interstate 25 South. Take the exit for Colfax Avenue. Turn left onto Colfax Ave and travel 1.3 miles. Turn left at Court Place, travel two blocks to hotel. The main entrance will be on your left after 15th street.
