Another step forward
We’re pleased to introduce Version 8.3, the latest evolution of the Cartegraph enterprise system. Version 8.3 builds on the foundation of previous iterations by adding features and increasing functionality to help your organization become more productive, efficient, and transparent in its operations.
 Better Mobile Maps
Mobile map enhancements — including the ability to zoom-in to any scale, and a return to full extent tool — make maps more comprehensive and readable. Quickly switch to the Map View from any asset layer and zoom to that asset.
Assign Basemaps
Assign different mobile basemaps per mobile device — users no longer have to be limited to using the same mobile basemap across all mobile devices.
Polygon Support
Access and visualize polygon spatial data types.
Filtering
Filter child recordsets, lookup libraries, and associated assets to reduce the number of records synced down to the device and give users a direct path to task-specific data.
Real-Time Correction
Version 8.3 also supports real-time correction methods — including VRS real-time corrections — on compatible Trimble devices.
  NASSCO Compliance
Version 8.3 introduces NASSCO certified utility standards. With NASSCO v6 certification in the following areas:
Consistent & Reliable
NASSCO compliant inspection structure establishes a consistent and reliable method for assessing sewer asset condition and meeting enforced mandates. Version 8.3 also includes NASSCO Pipe Rating, Pipe Index and Quick Pipe Rating calculations.
Import NASSCO Data
NASSCO Asset Management vendor-compliant data exchange allows you to import data from other NASSCO-certified CCTV vendors directly into your Cartegraph system.
  Performance Curves
Actual and Predicted Performance Curves allow you to view the impacts of past and planned/future activities on an asset condition, and the predicted condition and remaining life of each asset.
Enhance Data Integrity
Improved and consistent inspection methodology across all assets — including those tracked in VERSAview — enhances data integrity. Use this data to analyze how individual assets compare against the average performance of similar assets.
Schematic View
Schematic view allows personnel to note and view observations according to a detailed, graphic reference. Video playback takes this capability even further, allowing video inspection results to be attached and viewed for individual records.
